Expand a Bed LLC is incredibly excited to announce a new community-driven initiative launching in 2025: for every Expand a Bed sold, we will donate one blanket to a member of the homeless community.

   This campaign is deeply rooted in our values — quality, service, and making a real, meaningful difference in the lives of those around us. At Expand a Bed, we believe that comfort should be accessible to everyone, and that includes those facing the harsh realities of life without stable housing.

   In the United States, over 650,000 people experience homelessness on any given night, and nearly 40% of them are unsheltered—sleeping in parks, under bridges, or in doorways without protection from the elements. Richmond, Virginia — where Expand a Bed is proudly based — is no exception.

   In 2025, all donated blankets will be hand-delivered directly to members of the homeless community in Richmond and surrounding cities by members of our team. We believe that direct action not only meets immediate needs, but also builds empathy and human connection.

   As Expand a Bed grows, so will our reach. It is our hope to extend this initiative to cities across the country in the coming years, expanding our impact alongside our brand.
